Hicham Ghandour, born in 1958 in Beirut, Lebanon, is a master artisan whose journey spans decades and continents. After 33 transformative years in New York City, he returned to Beirut in 2011, bringing with him a wealth of experience and expertise.

Ghandour honed his craft in furniture restoration at the prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology in New York and further specialized in gilding restoration at Palazzo Spinelli in Florence, Italy. His career began in 2002, marked by significant milestones, including working with the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s gilding conservation department and collaborating with Ralph Lauren Home on prototype gilded furniture. Since 2016, Ghandour has been creating exclusive, one-of-a-kind furniture pieces for Nilufar Gallery in Milan, blending timeless craftsmanship with modern sophistication.
